I have an old Wacom Graphire Tablet Blue. I also have a new Wacom Intuos tablet gray. None of them has achieved everything, very dirty. They are usually a little grease from his hands, but it is something that simply clean with a damp cloth. The tablet can be done with a removable leaf for all "brands", but no matter how your tablet, you get stronger with age. So just go with any color you want. :)
